LeagueHQ Cookie Policy

DRAFT — review before launch. Tailored draft, not legal advice.

This Cookie Policy explains how LeagueHQ uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help a website function, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

Cookies we use

  • Essential — sign-in/session and security cookies required for the Service to work, set by us and our authentication provider (Supabase). These cannot be turned off without breaking core features.
  • Analytics and performance — help us understand usage and diagnose errors (for example, PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and Sentry).
  • Preferences — remember settings such as your currently selected league.

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

The browser extension and ESPN cookies

Our browser extension does not set its own tracking cookies. To connect an ESPN private league, it reads your existing ESPN authentication cookies (espn_s2, SWID) from your browser, with your action, and sends them to LeagueHQ so we can retrieve your league on your behalf. See Section 8 of our Privacy Policy for how these are used, stored, and revoked.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and break core features.
