LeagueHQ Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LeagueHQ (the "Service"), operated by Kappler Consulting LLC, DBA LeagueHQ ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. League commissioners and admins have additional controls over their league's content and members.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

  • The Service is offered on a paid subscription of $39.99 per member per year, with a 14-day free trial per member and no separate commissioner setup fee. Pricing may change with prior notice.
  • Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the web and renew annually unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • All sales are final. Fees are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals; cancelling does not refund the current term, and you keep access through the end of it.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your account settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: violate the law; harass, threaten, or harm others; post content that is unlawful, infringing, or hateful toward protected groups; attempt to breach or probe security; scrape or misuse the Service; or infringe others' rights. Leagues may include mature humor among consenting adult members; you remain responsible for your own conduct and content.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you post (chat, profiles, images, league data). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service for you and your league. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to post it.

6. Third-party platforms

The Service connects to third-party fantasy platforms (ESPN, Sleeper, Yahoo) at your direction. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. You authorize us to access your league data on your behalf. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or continued compatibility of any third-party platform or its data.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, excluding your content, is owned by us and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that imported league data will be accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
